The experience

Volunteering with Jalawelo will provide you with an opportunity to help others. But, we also want this experience to be meaningful for you as well. And, we want you to have some fun in the process, meet new people, and build new relationships.

For those of us who are already involved, this has been an amazing journey. There have been bumps in the road along the way, but we can only tell you that it has all been worth it. And we are excited about all that lies ahead.

There is so much in our world that seems wrong. So many people are hurting, and even some of us who are helping others are also hurting inside. But even with all of our own struggles and disappointments, we know that reaching out to touch one person who is in need is all worth it.

We were created to live in relationships and to care about each other. We were created to love and to be loved.
